Despite having a really busy weekend I managed to take a few photos of some of the wonderful work at Made by Hand, so here’s a taster.
Christian Ryan was opposite me with his gorgeous stained glass panels. I really loved the blackbirds!
These ceramic lamps by Harriet Caslin were stunning.
I love simple, beautiful designs, and these shaker boxes by Marcovitch Shaker Boxes were shining examples.
Anne Morgan‘s jewellery gets more photogenic each time I see it!
Laura Pearcey‘s memory pots are hauntingly lovely, and the roses a perfect fit!
There was a great selection of knitwear by Fiona Brooker, glass jewellery by Jed Green, ceramics by Laura McNamara.
I’d never seen these characterful felted animals by Stephanie Carswell before, but they were really lovely and very covetable.
I covered my friend Harriet St Leger‘s stand while she had a break, and this enamelled panel drew admiration from everyone who passed! Stunning!
During the fair I noticed a visitor had a really lovely bag. It seems she’d got it last year from Lynda Shell, who was exhibiting again. Great colours: very tempting!
All in all it was a great weekend: very busy, lots of people, lovely makers, the rain even managed to hold off (until get-out of course!)
Lots of visitors were interested to know that many of the exhibitors also have some of their stock in the related online store: madebyhandonline.com. Worth checking out if you missed it or are regretting not making that last purchase!
