Working Wood

Working Wood

So pleased to be part of the Working Wood exhibition in the Platform Gallery, Ribble Valley. The aim of the exhibition is to highlight the many different working methods for this material.

They are showing fine works in veneer, wood turning with a twist, sculpture and bespoke furniture. Traditional techniques such as hand carving sit alongside works that utilise the latest technologies, so it’s not just jewellery: different disciplines are represented. You can see more images on the Platform Gallery Flickr photostream.

My fellow exhibitors are: Nick Barberton, Paul Case, Ian Clarkson, Richard Hooper, Louise Hibbert, Sarah Elizabeth Jones, Ruth Mae, Christine Meyer-Eaglestone, Steve Tomlin, and Chris Rymer.
