Less than a week to go now until my first big fair of the winter season: the Great Northern Contemporary Craft Fair. I did this fair in 2011 and it was really good, so I’m looking forward to it!
As well as continuing to make more jewellery for the show, I’m also waiting for my new postcards to arrive. I’m using one of the images shot for me by Paul Hartley. He did all the photography this year for the collective I belong to: the Designer Jewellers Group.
I decided that this time my postcard would feature some of my best selling sketch pendants, rather than my one-off brooches, which I more often use for publicity.
At the Fair there’ll be over 150 selected designer-makers, selling their ceramics, glass, jewellery, textiles, prints and products direct. A great chance to meet the makers!
I’ll be on stand 79, so, if you’re anywhere near Manchester, please do come along! The Fair runs from 10th – 13th October, and there is FREE entry on the preview evening, that’s 18.00 – 22.00 on Thursday 10th.
